A detailed presentation of the philosophy of emptiness, based on the classical treatise by Chandrakirti, one of the main expounders of the Madhyamaka or Middle Way school in India. The treatise is also a commentary on the purport of the Mulamadhyamakakarika, the Root Verses on the Middle Way by Nagarjuna, the father of this tradition.
Chapters 1 to 10 deal with the bodhisattva's practice of the ten paramitas (or perfection), with a special emphasis on the perfection of wisdom in the text 6th and main chapter of the book. This chapters discusses in great detail the emptiness of phenomena and of the individual. The 11th and final chapter is a discussion of the qualities of buddhahood.

Chapter 7: The seventh generation of bodhicitta, an explanation of the seventh bhumi, the ground gone afar
Chapter 8: The eight generation of bodhicitta, an explanation of the eighth bhumi, the immovable ground
Chapter 9: The ninth generation of bodhicitta, an explanation of the ninth bhumi, the ground of perfect intelligence
Chapter 10: The tenth generation of bodhicitta, an explanation of the tenth bhumi, the ground Cloud of Dharma
Chapter 11a: The qualities of the ten bhumis
Chapter 11b: An explanation of the resultant ground of buddhahood
